SUPPORT

Questions, damage or repairs? Contact me first and I will help you determine the appropriate next step.

Ordering & Making Time

Many Lara Light products are handmade, assembled or prepared individually rather than mass-produced.

Please allow approximately 2–4 weeks for making and preparation before dispatch, unless a different timeframe is stated on the individual product or agreed with you when you order.

Some items may be available sooner, while custom, commissioned or particularly detailed pieces may require additional time. If an order is expected to take longer than the usual timeframe, I will let you know.

Please note that making time and delivery time are separate. The estimated 2–4 week period refers to preparing your order for dispatch and does not include the courier’s delivery time.

Once your order is ready, I will contact you to confirm the applicable shipping arrangements and costs before dispatch.

SERVICE & LOGISTICS

Shipping & Delivery

Product prices do not include courier, delivery or packaging costs unless specifically stated. These costs are quoted or confirmed separately based on the destination and the size of your order.

Once your order is ready for dispatch, I will confirm the shipping arrangements with you and provide tracking information where available.

Please make sure the delivery address and contact details you provide are correct. Once an order has been handed to the courier, delivery times are subject to the courier’s service and conditions.

If your parcel appears delayed or there is a problem with delivery, please contact me and I will assist where reasonably possible in following it up with the courier.

International Orders

International orders are welcome. Shipping is arranged separately and the cost will depend on the destination, parcel size and available courier service.
Where appropriate, international orders are generally sent using DHL or another suitable tracked courier service. Shipping costs will be confirmed with you before dispatch.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, clearance fees or other charges that may be applied by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product or shipping price unless specifically stated.
Customs procedures and international delivery times vary between countries and are outside my direct control. I will provide tracking information where available and assist with reasonable courier enquiries if a problem arises.

When Your Order Arrives

When your order arrives, please take a moment to check the parcel and its contents before disposing of the packaging.
Your LightScope, wands and other handmade pieces may contain glass, crystals and other delicate materials, so unpack them gently and avoid pulling, twisting or forcing any components.
If the parcel appears damaged, or if an item is damaged, incorrect or not as expected, please take photographs of the outer packaging, inner packaging and the item itself and contact me as soon as reasonably possible.
Please do not attempt to repair, open, dismantle or adjust a damaged LightScope yourself. Contact me first so that I can assess what has happened and advise you on the appropriate next step.
Keep the original packaging until we have resolved any delivery or product issue.

Returns & Change of Mind

I want you to feel comfortable with what you have purchased. If you change your mind about a physical product, please contact me within 14 days of receiving your order to discuss a return.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, the item should be unused, undamaged and returned in its original condition and, where reasonably possible, its original packaging.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, the cost of returning the product is the customer’s responsibility. Please package returned items carefully, as responsibility for the item remains with you until it is received back safely.

Once the returned item has been received and its condition checked, I will arrange the applicable refund.

Personalised, specially commissioned or custom-made products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns where permitted by law. I will make this clear before accepting a custom order.

This 14-day change-of-mind policy does not limit any rights you may have where an item is faulty, unsafe, damaged or not as described. Those situations are dealt with separately below.

That final paragraph is important. The 14 days is your customer-care return window, not a 14-day limit on someone’s legal rights if the product is defective.

Returns & Claims

Damaged, Incorrect or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged, you receive the wrong item, or you believe there is a fault with your product, please contact me as soon as reasonably possible so that I can help resolve the issue.
Please include your order details and, where relevant, clear photographs of the item, the outer packaging and the internal packaging. This helps me understand what has happened and, where necessary, raise the matter with the courier.
Please do not attempt to repair, alter, dismantle or adjust the product before contacting me. For LightScopes in particular, opening or attempting to realign the internal components may cause further damage and can make it more difficult to determine the original problem.
Once I have assessed the issue, I will discuss the appropriate next step with you. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, return or refund, in accordance with your applicable consumer rights.
Normal handmade variation, natural differences in crystals or materials, and minor variations in colour, pattern or finish are not necessarily faults. These characteristics are part of the individual nature of handmade products and are explained further below.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

Handmade & Natural Materials

Many Lara Light products are made or assembled by hand and may incorporate natural materials such as crystals, gemstones, glass and other individually selected components.
Because these materials are not identical, variations in colour, clarity, texture, shape, pattern and size are natural and should be expected. Handmade construction can also result in small differences between individual pieces.
These variations are part of what makes each piece individual and are not, by themselves, considered faults or defects.
Product photographs are intended to represent the overall design and character of an item, but the exact crystals, colours or natural details in the piece you receive may differ slightly from those shown.
Where a product contains particularly variable materials or is made specifically for you, I will communicate any significant differences where appropriate.

PRESERVING LUMINOSITY

LightScope Care & Repairs

Your LightScope is a handmade optical instrument and should be handled with care.

Please do not open, dismantle, alter or attempt to realign the internal components yourself. The mirrors and optical alignment are carefully positioned, and opening the LightScope may cause damage or affect the quality of the image.

If your LightScope is dropped, damaged, becomes misaligned or is no longer functioning as expected, please contact me before attempting any repair. I will first assess the problem and advise whether the LightScope can be repaired, needs to be returned for inspection, or requires another solution.

Repairs are assessed individually. Where damage results from normal use, accidental damage or wear over time, I will explain any repair and shipping costs before work is undertaken.

If the issue appears to result from a manufacturing fault, we will deal with it in accordance with the Damaged, Incorrect or Faulty Items section above and your applicable consumer rights.

Please be aware that unauthorised opening, modification or third-party repair may cause additional damage and may affect the repair options available to me. This does not limit any consumer rights that apply by law.

When transporting or storing your LightScope, keep it protected from impact, excessive moisture and conditions that could damage its optical or handmade components.

If something doesn’t look or feel right, please contact me first. In many cases, a simple assessment can prevent a small problem becoming a larger repair.

Caring for Wands & Crystals

Your wands are handmade using glass, crystals, gemstones and other carefully selected components. Natural variations are part of their individual character.

GENTLE HANDLING
Handle your wand gently and avoid dropping, bending or placing unnecessary pressure on its components. Some of the glass, crystals and handmade elements can be damaged by impact.

STORAGE
Store your wand somewhere protected when not in use, away from excessive heat, moisture and prolonged direct sunlight where these may affect particular materials.

CLEANING & CARE
Clean glass and other suitable surfaces gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning products, soaking the wand in water or using abrasive materials.
Crystals and gemstones vary naturally in hardness and composition, so not every stone responds to water, cleaning products or prolonged sunlight in the same way.
If you are unsure how to care for a particular wand or component, please contact me before attempting to clean, repair or alter it.

Digital Products

Some Lara Light resources are available as digital products rather than physical items.
Digital products are currently supplied directly by email rather than through an automated download system. Once your purchase has been confirmed, the relevant digital file or access information will be sent to the email address you provide.

Please make sure your email address is correct when ordering. If you have not received your digital product within the timeframe communicated to you, please contact me so that I can assist.
Digital products do not incur shipping or courier charges.
Digital materials are supplied for your personal use unless otherwise stated. Please do not reproduce, redistribute, resell or share purchased digital materials without permission.
