Prices are displayed with each product wherever possible. Because some pieces are handmade, individually prepared or commissioned, availability and final costs may occasionally need to be confirmed before an order is accepted.
Payment arrangements will be made clear before your order is confirmed.
An order is confirmed once the product, price and any applicable payment arrangements have been agreed and the required payment has been received.
For specially commissioned or custom work, different payment arrangements may be agreed with you before work begins.
South African and international customers may be offered different payment methods or currencies depending on the product and destination.
Payments may be made through the payment options provided or agreed with you at the time of purchase. Where a third-party payment provider is used, that provider processes the transaction according to its own terms and privacy practices.
Product prices do not include courier, delivery or packaging costs unless specifically stated. These are confirmed separately according to the order and destination.
International customers are also responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT or clearance charges applied in their destination country.

Many pieces in the Light Shop are made, assembled or finished by hand rather than mass-produced.
LightScopes, crystal and colour wands, special sets and selected releases may be created in small quantities or offered as limited editions. Materials, crystals, colours and individual details can vary from piece to piece, making each one slightly different.
Some people come to these tools through an existing interest in light, colour or perception. Others simply discover them because they are beautiful, unusual objects that invite curiosity and exploration.
They can be enjoyed across generations, from children discovering the wonder of changing patterns and colour to adults using them for creative exploration, reflection or simply the pleasure of seeing differently.
They can also make distinctive personal, family or corporate gifts, particularly for someone who already seems to have everything.
Because these pieces are handmade and materials may vary, small differences from photographs are part of their individual character and are not, by themselves, considered defects.
Buying the resource gives you access to the resource. It does not transfer ownership of the work behind it.
The Light Shop may include downloadable or digitally supplied resources such as guides, diagrams, cards, learning materials, visual tools and other original Lara Light and Light Literacy™ resources.
Digital products are currently supplied directly by email unless otherwise stated. Once your purchase has been confirmed, the relevant file or access information will be sent to the email address you provide.
Unless a product specifically states otherwise, purchasing a digital product gives you the right to use that copy for your own personal use. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying content, design, method or intellectual property.
Digital materials may not be reproduced, redistributed, resold, uploaded for public access or incorporated into another commercial product or service without prior written permission.
If a particular resource includes different permissions, such as practitioner, classroom or licensed use, those permissions will be stated separately with that product.
When you purchase a physical Lara Light product, the individual object you have purchased belongs to you.
You may use and enjoy it personally, give it as a gift, display it, or later sell or transfer that particular physical object to someone else.
Ownership of the physical object does not, however, transfer ownership of the designs, written material, imagery, methods, frameworks, branding or other intellectual property associated with it.
The original written materials, educational content, diagrams, visual materials, product designs, frameworks, methods and other creative work associated with Lara Light and Light Literacy™ remain the intellectual property of their respective owner and are protected to the extent provided by applicable intellectual property law.
This includes original material associated with the wider Light Literacy™ body of work and named frameworks and tools developed within it.
Purchasing a product does not automatically give you permission to reproduce, copy, manufacture, publish, distribute, teach, adapt or commercially exploit the underlying work.
Where practitioner, teaching, reproduction or commercial-use rights are available, these must be granted separately and in writing or through the specific licence, training or programme concerned.
Purchasing the object or resource is not the same as purchasing the right to reproduce, teach or commercially use the work behind it.
Lara Light and Light Literacy™ products are created to support curiosity, exploration, learning and a more conscious relationship with light, colour and perception.
People may use these tools in different ways: for visual exploration, creative practice, reflection, education, relaxation or simply for the pleasure of seeing differently.
Experiences are individual. No particular physical, emotional, psychological or therapeutic outcome is promised or guaranteed.
Lara Light products are intended to be used with awareness and reasonable care.
LightScopes and other visual tools are designed for visual exploration and personal experience. If using a light-based or visual product causes discomfort, visual strain, dizziness or an unpleasant response, stop using it and allow your eyes and body to settle before deciding whether to continue.
Handmade products may contain glass, crystals, small components and other delicate materials. Handle them carefully and protect them from unnecessary impact or damage.
Children can enjoy the wonder of LightScopes and other visual tools, but delicate products should be used with appropriate adult supervision, particularly where glass, crystals, small parts or breakable components are involved.
Products and educational resources are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent medical or psychological conditions and should not replace appropriate professional healthcare or advice.

Shipping and packaging costs are confirmed separately unless specifically included in the product price. International orders may also be subject to customs duties, taxes or clearance charges in the destination country.
